what we do

Inspection, excavation, and cleaning services for underground infrastructure across Arizona.

HYDROVAC & HYDRO EXCAVATION

Hydro Excavation: Precise, non-destructive excavation for exposing utilities and accessing underground infrastructure Without damaging surrounding assets.

Sanitary Sewer Cleaning: Root removal, grease and debris to restore flow, prevent blockages, and extend the life of sewer lines.

Storm Drain Cleaning: Prevent ponding, remove debris, and protect downstream Infrastructure and assets.

INSPECTION & CAMERA WORK

CCTV Pipeline Inspection: Powered by IBAK RapidView 4K inspection systems, we provide ultra-high-definition video with pinpoint defect visibility, accurate distance measurement, and full NASSCO-compliant coding. Laser-sharp imagery, and real-time recording ensure nothing is missed. Reports are delivered within 24–48 hours and are guaranteed to pass inspection—keeping your project on schedule and your client satisfied.

Lateral Launching: Our mainline-to-lateral inspections provide high-resolution imaging, precise distance measurement, and NASSCO-compliant defect coding to accurately identify cracks, offsets, joint separations, and intrusions at the lateral connection. Early detection supports proactive maintenance planning, reduces emergency repairs, and ensures compliance with municipal inspection standards.

Cross Bore Inspection: Cross bore inspections deliver high-resolution imaging, precise distance tracking, and NASSCO-compliant reporting to identify potential utility conflicts at sewer and storm crossings. Early detection reduces the risk of utility strikes, supports safe excavation and cleaning operations, and helps municipalities maintain compliance with cross bore prevention programs and safety standards.

Push Camera Inspection: Fast, cost-effective spot checks and diagnostics for smaller lines or tight access points.

Manhole Inspections:  A Level 1 inspection is a visual, surface-level evaluation conducted from the rim without entering the structure. Using high-resolution camera equipment, inspectors assess visible components including the cover, frame, cone, walls, bench, channels, and incoming/outgoing pipes.

This inspection identifies obvious defects such as cracking, corrosion, infiltration, debris buildup, or structural displacement. Level 1 inspections are commonly used for system-wide condition screening, routine maintenance programs, and prioritizing assets that require further evaluation.

A Level 2 inspection is a comprehensive, close-range evaluation performed by lowering advanced camera equipment into the manhole to capture detailed imagery of all structural elements. This level allows for precise defect identification, measurement, and condition assessment in accordance with NASSCO MACP standards.

This inspection documents structural defects, joint separation, corrosion, infiltration, and other conditions that impact long-term performance and safety. The data supports rehabilitation planning, capital improvement programs, and regulatory compliance.

EXTRA SUPERIOR UNDERGROUND SERVICES

Vacuum Testing Manholes: Vacuum testing confirms manholes are properly sealed by pulling a vacuum to identify leaks before backfill and acceptance. This helps avoid failed inspections, callbacks, and costly rework.

Sewer Air Pressure Testing: Sewer air pressure testing uses low-pressure air to verify newly installed or repaired lines are airtight and leak-free—helping ensure acceptance, prevent callbacks, and pass inspection the first time.
